The agreement
These terms are between Thisisit (Pty) Ltd ("Thisisit", "we") and the company that signs up or signs an order form ("the Client", "you"). By using Thisisit you agree to them. The operator agreement and any order form are part of them; if they conflict, the order form wins, then the operator agreement on personal information, then these terms.
The service
Thisisit pulls documents, email and records from the sources you connect or upload, merges duplicates, sorts them into records with the quote behind each value, and lets you search, ask questions, write reports and set alerts. Features described as "Rolling out" or "Coming" are not part of the service until they are live.
Accounts
Your workspace owners decide who has access and with which role. You are responsible for what happens under your accounts: keep passwords private, turn on two-step sign-in, and tell us at once through the form on our home page if you think an account has been misused.
Acceptable use
- Only connect or upload content you have the right to process, and a lawful basis for any personal information in it.
- Don't bring in special personal information or children's personal information unless we have agreed in writing how it will be handled.
- Don't try to reach other workspaces, test our security without written permission, overload the service, or use it to break the law.
Your data
Your content stays yours. You give us the right to process it only to provide the service, as your operator under POPIA. We don't sell it or use it to train AI models. How we protect it is on the security page, and how we handle personal information is in the privacy notice and the operator agreement.
AI output
Thisisit uses AI to read and sort documents. Every value keeps the quote it came from, code checks the quote is in the document, and uncertain records go to a person for review. Even so, AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Check important values against their quotes before you rely on them; Thisisit is not financial, legal or tax advice.
Fees
Fees, billing periods and payment terms are set in your order form.
Availability and changes
We work to keep Thisisit available, but we don't yet offer a service-level agreement. We may improve or change the service; we will tell you in advance before removing a feature you rely on.
Ending the agreement
Either side may end the agreement as the order form says, or at once if the other seriously breaks it and doesn't fix it within 30 days of notice. When it ends, you can ask for a copy of your data within 30 days, after which we delete it, as the operator agreement sets out.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa.
