Data consolidation, run for you

All your company's data in one place, without hiring a data team.

Thisisit gathers your folders and local databases, mail, Drive, Microsoft 365 and Xero into one hosted place. We run it for you, so you don't need a data engineer, and a monthly pack you can check shows it's working.

Connect what you already use. Get it all in one place.

Your company's data sits in folders, local databases, drives, inboxes, SharePoint and the accounts, and nobody can see all of it at once. Thisisit pulls from each of them into one place, merges what's repeated and keeps every value tied to where it came from.

Every value links back to its sourceRead-only access
  • Connect once

Sign in to a source one time. New files and mail keep syncing on their own, so it all stays current.

  • Duplicates merged

The same file from a drive and an inbox is stored once, and both places it lives are kept.

  • Linked to its source

Every value still links back to the file, email or entry it came from, with the exact quote.

  • Read-only

Thisisit reads from your systems. It doesn't edit, send or delete anything in them.

  • Anything else, by hand

Not connected? Drop files in, forward an email or paste text. PDFs, scans, spreadsheets and web pages all work.

“Rolling out” means we're switching that connector on now. Ask in a demo which ones are ready for you. The source drawings are plain glyphs, not the companies' logos.

How it works

Connect. Sort. Trust. Work.

You don't have to clean anything up first. Point Thisisit at the places your data already lives, and it brings the lot into one place your team can rely on.

  1. 01

    Connect

Connect your drives, inboxes, SharePoint and accounts once, and they keep syncing. Anything else you can drop in, forward or paste.

  2. 02

    Sort

Each document is read and sorted into a type you define, like a lease or an invoice. The same file from two places becomes one record.

  3. 03

    Trust

Every value carries the exact quote it came from, checked against the source. Anything unsure waits for a person.

  4. 04

    Work

Filter the tables, ask questions, get alerts and send reports where every claim links back to its source.

Proof

Every value has a quote.

Nothing gets in on faith. Thisisit stores the exact words behind each value and checks they really appear in the document. If they don't, the record goes to review instead of into your data.

Built for teams

Made for the people who do the work.

Thisisit is a place to work, not a demo. Keyboard first, dense where it helps, and calm enough to use all day.

A review queue, not a black box

When Thisisit isn't sure, the record waits for a quick check. Fix a value, approve it and move to the next one without touching the mouse.

A workspace per company

Each client or business gets its own space. People only see the workspaces they're invited to.

Reports with sources

Weekly digests or one-off reports, written from approved records only. Every claim links to its quote.

Alerts

Set a rule, like “any new lease” or “target price above R80”, and get told when it fires.

A setup per company

Packs define the document types and fields each company cares about. Pick one, or build one from a few samples.

Security and privacy

Careful with your data, and plain about how.

Separated per workspace

Every document and record belongs to one workspace, and every query is scoped to it. An id from another workspace returns nothing.

We run it for you

Servers, updates, backups and monitoring are our job. The only thing on your computers is the optional Sync program, and it only reads.

A signed POPIA agreement

We sign a section 21 operator agreement before anything connects. You choose which sources and folders come in, and every AI call is logged.

Locked down by default

Sign-in on every page, limits on password guessing, a strict content security policy and no third-party scripts, on this page too.

We don't claim certifications we don't have. Every control is listed on our security page, with what isn't built yet. Ask us for the details your IT or compliance team needs, and we'll answer them in writing.

Design partners

Become a design partner.

We're setting Thisisit up with a small group of companies first. You get it working on your own data with the founder's help, and in return you tell us plainly what works and what doesn't.

Who it's for

Companies whose data lives in more than one place: folders or local databases, Gmail or Outlook, Drive or SharePoint, Xero. Someone puts the monthly pack or board report together by hand, and wants every number to point at its source.

What you get

  • Onboarding included. We connect your systems with you, build the setup from your own sample documents and get your first report live.
  • A direct line to the founder. You talk to the person who builds it, not a support queue.
  • Shape the product. What you need goes to the top of the list, and you see it ship.

The terms

  • A 6-month design-partner term at a founding rate, with onboarding at no charge. We'll go through the numbers on a call.
  • A 30-minute feedback call every two weeks.
  • A POPIA operator agreement, signed before anything is connected.
  • If it works for you, a short case study and a reference call.

Leaving

Exit any month: tell us by email or on a call, and the partnership ends at the end of that month. We disconnect your sources, and delete your workspace's data when you ask.

FAQ

Questions people ask.

Which systems can it pull from?

Available now: Uploads, Email-in, Websites / RSS, APIs. Email-in means you forward mail to your workspace or link an inbox. Folders and local databases (Postgres, MySQL, SQL Server, SQLite, CSV and Excel) come in through our small Sync program.

Rolling out: Google Drive, Gmail, Outlook, SharePoint / OneDrive, Xero. Ask in a demo which are ready for you.

We don't connect to Sage or other accounting systems yet, and other databases, such as Oracle or Access, aren't supported.

Access is read-only: Thisisit only reads from your systems, and for a local database you give Sync a login that can only read. Duplicates are merged, and every value links back to where it came from.

What can Thisisit read?

PDFs, scans and photos, Excel and CSV files, web pages, emails and plain text. Scanned pages go through OCR first, on our own servers where possible. Older Office files (.doc, .xls) and PowerPoint can't be read yet.

How do I know a value is right?

Every value is saved with the exact quote it came from and the page it's on. Code, not the AI, checks the quote is really in the document and that any number appears in it. If either check fails, or the AI is unsure, the record goes to the review queue for a person.

Which AI does it use?

OpenAI or Anthropic's Claude. We set this, and we'll tell you which one before anything is connected. Clear scans are read on our own servers without AI; pages the reader is unsure of go to the AI. Each AI call is logged with what it cost.

Is our data used to train AI models?

Thisisit doesn't train models on your data. Text goes to our AI provider through its API, under that provider's API terms.

Where is my data stored, and will you sign an operator agreement?

AI inference runs outside South Africa: to read a document, its text is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI or Anthropic), which processes it in the United States under its API terms and data processing agreement.

Only data at rest, the database, files and backups, can stay in South Africa, and our hosting in AWS Cape Town is planned, not live yet. Once it is, your documents, records and database are stored at rest in a South African region; we'll say so here the day it is.

Yes: we sign our POPIA section 21 operator agreement with you before anything is connected. It lists every sub-processor and the section 72 basis for sending data abroad. It and our security, privacy and terms pages are drafts pending legal review.

Can we host it ourselves?

No. We run everything so you don't need servers or an IT project. If you need separation from other customers, ask us about a dedicated environment. The Sync program is the only thing you install.

Does it work for our industry?

The engine doesn't care about the industry. A setup (we call it a pack) lists your document types and fields. Investment research is the first ready-made one; Thisisit can propose a new one from a few of your own samples.

We already have an AI assistant. Why this?

An assistant answers questions over what it can reach. We solve a different problem: getting data out of local databases, folders and other systems into one store you can report on. Keep your assistant if you have one. They aren't either-or.

What does it cost?

It depends on how many documents you have and how many people use it. Ask through the form above and we'll give you a straight quote.

All your sources. One place.

Tell us which tools your data lives in and bring a few real files. We'll show you them pulled into one place, duplicates merged and quotes kept.
